SURPRISE

Tuesday was a pretty full day for me. I went to the mall in the morning to shop with my sister Charlotte and her friend Julia for our Florida trip comming up in a couple weeks and then to TCC {tidewater community college} for 4 hours because I had signed up for my In-Dock {and for my placement test scores}.  When i was finished with that and Charlotte and Julia came to pick me up, my mom  had called and told us to meet her at the bowling alley, for some family fun and pizza.  Tired and not really wanting to go i agreed to just sit and watch them play. {we usually bowl on Tuesdays because its customer appreciation day and we get a discount!}

we are walking in, i get my bowling shoes from the counter and wave at my friends a few lanes down.... "wait. why are they all here? how did they get on base?" confused i start walking over towards them. They were grinning ear to ear, my heart started beating faster and it suddenly hit me, "omyword its a surprise birthday party, i know it, im sure of it! why els would they be all here!" Sure enough when i walked over  they all yelled "SURPRISE" and "HAPPY BIRTHDAY".  my parents were laughing, overjoyed that they finally surprised me! and Charlotte  and Julia just looked relieved that I didn't see the enormous sweet 16 balloon in the trunk of our car!

haha still lookig back on the night makes me laugh and smile! Have you seen those new MacDonalds commercials where something amazing happens so they take a sip of their smoothie and "the moment" rewinds so they can feel/see it again? well I wish things like that really happened! I could rewind that entire night and live it over again! 

Below are some pictures of the cupcakes my mom made for the occasion! I didn't really take any photos of the actual party so i thought i would just show you these! {thanks julia for posting the pictures on fb so i could copy them!} I love my mom for making these for me and I'm so proud of her! She is one of a very few in the world who can say "i make what i pin on Pinterest" haha well have a great week(end) everyone!

p.s. the two purple ones you see in the middle of the first photo are ones my mom got for a friend because they are on a gluten free diet....  

The owls were yellow cake an chocolate frosting while the white cupcakes were strawberry lemonade with lime-e-ish icing! YUMM!
