St. Augustine

St. Augustine, Florida is so beautiful! My family and i were able to visit the town and Flagler College while we were staying in Jacksonville! Its so old and historic and beautiful! AGHHH i want to live there!  The city is actually the oldest occupied European settlement in North America!!!  The "stone fortress" that you will see in the photos below is Castillo de San Marcos! A spanish renaissance fortress that is one of the finest examples of spanish renaissance masonry fortification  in the U.S.! (i really like reading the brochure haha) There are not any photos of Flagler because we didn't have enough time to visit the college but the outside we saw while driving past it was very beautiful!

 overall i think the trip was a success! I think the best part was when my dad was about to pay over $50 for us to enter in to the "fortress" and i pointed out that military families get in free! Or when we got to go to the two outlet malls on our way home!

well yeah...  Has everyone started school yet? My co-op starts next tuesday and college has already started! urghhhh summer flew by! But i am looking forward to this school year! Our advanced musical groups at YMV always go on a spring trip and this year we are going to Asheville, NC! Everyone thought our choir director said Nashville instead of Asheville at Orientation, but i understood her! Maybe while there i will get to see my cousins {hint hint maryrachel ;)} but not matter what im excited for the trip! :D

 FUN FACT/story!!!! My mom and i have always liked the clothes at GAP Outlet and not really liked the clothes at GAP stores and we were wondering why they are so different, and it turns out they have a separate line for GAP Outlet! makes sense right?
