*ah-hemm*** the yummy hazelnut spread {said in that odd history channel commentary voice} called "Supercrema" was created in the 1940's by Mr. Pietro Fererro. At the time there was very little chocolate in the world, and if there was chocolate available, it was very expensive due to World War II rationing. In 1949, Pietro started to sell the creamy made of hazel nut spread and it was a success. A few years later in 1963, Pietro's son Michele revamped Supercrema with the intention of marketing it across
That’s so cool right? Anyway so here is the recipe! It’s very easy and you can modify it however you want! This is how I make them!
1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees
2. You will need one cup of Nutella, one cup of all purpose flower and one egg.
3. Mix the flower, Nutella and egg together. You can add a little bit of milk if you want to help the dough mix well
4. Next make 1inch balls of the dough and place them on a greased pan!
5. Place the pan{s} in the oven and let them cook for 8-10 minutes, depend on how mushy-crisp you want the cookies! To make sure they are done in the middle, take a fork and stick it in the middle of one of the cookies closet to you. Then pull the fork out, if dough stuck to the tips of the fork you know it’s still not done in the middle.
6. Take the cookies out of the oven, letting them cool down for a bit, then in joy!
*note: cookies taste great if Peanut butter is spread on top as a frosting!
OM NOM NOM Must try these!! :) xx
ReplyDeleteSo, maybe I'm not a real fan of nutella or peanut butter, but I can always substitute with something!
ReplyDeleteAlso, thanks for the comment on my blog! You should probably know that I'm *obsessed* with
"John Williams is the Man" seriously. My sister and I know all the words and we performed it for the family at Thanksgiving last year. It was so fun!! I just adore that song. :))
