madness... it's all madness..

Wednesday my father and I picked up my Grandmother {his mother}, my aunt Kathy and my Aunt Gina at the Norfolk International Airport! It was really exciting! I have not seen my Dad's family in 5 {maybe 6} years! Although I have more cousins, aunts, uncles ect. still in Nebraska it feels good to see some of the family!

Friday is my Dad's retirement and we have been cooking all day! So far we have put 120 dinner rolls on pans to rise, cut open 48 croissants, peeled 89 hard boiled eggs, put a lot of chicken in the oven to cook, made spinach dip, beef dip, ranch dip, and last but not least made my amazing Nutella cookies so my grandmother could try them! There is still a lot more to do/cook and I have to go to the tailor's to pick up my dress that was getting altered! We have to set up everything at the office where the ceremony is going to take place and we have to cut A LOT of onions that my mom is going to use for "something". 

My sister charlotte just started cutting one of the pineapples, aunt Gina is helping her, mom is checking on the chicken, aunt Kathy and grandma are cutting onions, I’m on the computer searching for clear glass shot glasses. I have called all 4 local Wal-Mart’s, about 9 different dollar tree's, and 6 big lots! NO ONE has shot glasses! Mom wants to use them to put tooth picks in, but I think we should get something more re-usable! Its not like we would ever use the shot glasses again, my rents don't even drink! o well, the plan wont even work unless we actually find shot glasses! It seems to me they have been wiped off the face of the earth! hmmmmmmmm...

I should probably get back to helping out so I shall say goodbye! Have a wonderful week or weekend {which ever you prefer}!!!!! avoir!
