Where Has Summer Gone?

Where has summer truly gone? I look around and see my friends buying school supplies for the New Year ahead! I hear my cousins from North Carolina and Tennessee talk about how their school year has started already! I wonder where this summer has gone. My mother is telling me I need a new binder for Chemistry and asking if I want to take High School Choir again at YMV...... What’s going to happen to the adventures, and spontaneous sunset walks on the beach with the family? What is going to happen to the weather, and the beautiful flowers? And not to mention what’s going to happen to my glorious tan? The tan I have never had before {except for when I was like 9}?

I want to go back and do something with the time I had just sitting on my bed! Go back in time and do something memorable! Take more photos of the fun times I had with the family! This summer was the best one I have had in a long time! I got to spend 2 weeks with my grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins! I got to go to summer camp and meet some pretty amazing and inspiring people, not to mention grow closer with god! I got to see a Japanese battle ship! I got to see my grandma sunny {she may spell it suni?} who I have not seen since I was 5 and my uncle David who had not seen me since I was a baby/toddler!

Summer is drawing towards an end and sadly we all have to move on! We have to start school or college and look forward to homework, school dances, CHRISTMAS, thanksgiving and time with friends! Thank you summer for being so amazing! Let me just say though your to fast!

Dear summer,
You’re to fast for me! You take forever to get here in the school year and when you are finally here you dash of after what seems like a week! Next year can you please take a WATER BREAK so I can catch up with you and enjoy myself?

Yours truly
