Biology

One of the sorrows of being homeschooled is that my mom can choose to have me do school over the summer! This summer i am taking a Biology class by Apologia Science. The class is 11 weeks long and we will be doing all 14 chapters in the book! It was originally designed to be taken in a full school year, but that's just not going to happen. We will be doing a chapter a week, which is about 30 pages a week! (60 if we double up and do 2 chapters a week) Now that may not seem like a lot, but it is. These chapters were supposed to be done in 2 to 3 weeks, not a couple days! Thursday was my first day of class. Want to know what we did? Chapter 1! ALL OF CHAPTER 1!!!!!!!! That chapter was supposed to be done in 2 weeks, not 5 hours! i think i have the right to say my brain is officially fried! :) There are 8 people in the class, 5 girls, 3 boys, all homeschoolers and all really smart! I'm kinda scared by how smart they actually are!  They are all my age,  yet i feel they are years older... I don't really care for learning about consumers, and producers and other biology stuff! Science is not really my genre. But i am blessed to be doing it over the summer, and i am blessed to have a teacher that loves god and thinks we should skip the evolution chapter! I guess i should get back to reading about biology. We're going to Water Country USA tomorrow...
