the wonderful weekend/friday

My Friday started at YMV with me getting a bunch of graded HW in Advanced Writing/ British Lit back, turning in my chemistry chapter 2 test and working on the clay mask I’m making of myself. I am very proud to say that I replicated my nose perfectly! I then had lunch, got my school picture taken, and went to concert choir practice. After Choir was Music theory class and then math. My 'rents and sister picked my brother and I up after math ended and we left for Chesapeake, which is an hour away. We had dinner over there, then tried to find the church where our missions concert/ lock-in was.

 The concert was about a 1 1/2 hours, after it ended my family left and I stayed cuz I was spending the night. Once every ones family left there was pizza for everyone staying. We played sardines, hind and go seek, blasted music, played four squares, and watched tangled. At 11:30 there was a small worship service and the boys and girls separated. Then it was long confusing game of truth or dare. {I had to go into the room where our choir director was sleeping and sing the "I’m a little tea pot song/dance"}

The next morning I and a few other girls went to the choir loft to clean the church's handbells. I was supposed to be cleaning the church's kitchen with another group. But since i used to play handbells and they needed more help I was able to switch groups.

Funny story about the bells, to clean them you have to rub on this polish stuff, let it sit and rub it off again and your supposed to do it with a soft rag {cotton tee's work best} but we couldn’t find one so we went to the choir director and asked where we could find some because it was not with the bell cleaning stuff and she went and changed and gave us her shirt {she happened to be wearing a cotton tee.} We cut the shirt up and started polishing. When we were done, another girl who was cleaning the bells and I duck taped the shirt back together and gave it to Mrs. Robinson {the choir director} saying 'we just wanted to return your shirt to you"! We have the entire thing on video!

Later that morning my mom picked me up and we ran errands all day, then I went to Hunt Club, which is a farm about a 1/2 hour from my house and every year during this time they have a carnival sort of thing. There is a Haunted Hayride, A Haunted Corn Field Maze and a Haunted House. They also have a ferris wheel, one of those jumbo slides and some other kid rides. I was meeting a friend, we both had never been, and just wanted to see what it was all about! It was so much fun, but sadly I did not get back home till 11:45.

Crazy weekend. But fun. Even though I only got 5 hours of sleep.

Tomorrow I think I will sleep all day!
Happy Sunday Everyone!
